*sNiff* Yoga with a headcold

The yearning for spring becomes intense now and winter decides to get in some last kicks while we're down... I always get sick at the change in season. If you're ill but can manage to drag yourself to your yoga mat as you recuperate, here's a few poses that will make you feel better without taxing you too much. Unfortunately, I can't do anything about the weather!

Pelvic Tilts: These feel great almost all the time. Even when you aren't feeling your best, this is a way to wake up your spine in a gentle way that can help relieve aches and pains.

Pigeon Pose: It may not look relaxing, but believe me, it will feel good to open your hips.

Supine Spinal Twist: This supine twist feels great at the end of any yoga practice, even if that practice is only three poses long! Twists help cleanse the organs, so hopefully this pose will help you get back to your healthy life a little sooner.

But remember to listen to your body – slow down – relax – breathe
